The heart of our work

Curiosity

On top of the deep experience we bring, we lean into exploration and thinking broadly. We embrace uncertainty to help build a comprehensive understanding.

Courage

We facilitate brave and caring conversations, and build this same bravery in our clients. We address complexities and discuss the undiscussable to find common ground.

Perspective

We know that critical thinking and diverse perspectives are crucial for connecting the dots. We draw on our experience accelerating a wide range of organizations to untangle the intricacies of a challenge.

Optimism

We firmly believe in our clients’ ability to succeed and reach maximum effectiveness. Nothing is beyond hope. We live in the GAIN, not the GAP.

Behind our name

Malida is a traditional ceremony celebrated by our founder’s community. It’s a way to give thanks for joyful milestones—births, weddings, good health and success, and other significant moments. The namesake dish served at the ceremony is made from crumbled rotis or pounded rice, then sweetened with jaggery or sugar. Cardamom, coconut, raisins, and nuts are often added to malida. Topped with rose petals and served alongside five fruits, the malida platter represents harmony of color, texture, scent, and flavor.

  • This offsite compared to the last one? It was like night and day. There was more momentum, no obvious energy dip. There was an amount of ownership that everyone showed up with, especially on Day 2.

    CEO

  • That team offsite was an experiment in doing it early on, and it was a real success. We achieved great feedback and it is setting a pretty nice tone.

    CEO

  • We had a very enthusiastic group, but it was so helpful to organize our thoughts, because there was absolutely no structure to it whatsoever. Also, to have encouragement that these are good ideas, defined by a team who’s done it before, who has the knowledge from so many different places, it was reassuring.
